Step 3: Discuss Your Child’s Reading Needs: We’ll talk about challenges your child may experience, such as sounding out unfamiliar words, reading smoothly, spelling, or understanding what they read.
Step 4: Explore Assessment Options: Based on our conversation, we’ll discuss whether a reading screening or additional assessment may be helpful.
Step 5: Schedule an Assessment, If Needed: If you decide to move forward with further assessment, we’ll arrange a separate date and time and explain what to expect.
Step 6: Discuss Next Steps: We’ll review recommendations and explore reading support options that best fit your child’s needs.
Please note: The free 30-minute consultation is an initial conversation, not a formal dyslexia evaluation or comprehensive reading assessment. Any additional assessment services will be scheduled separately.
